My name is Kayla Marie and my heart is currently owned by a nine year old Leonberger named Meeko. He’s the inspiration for much of my writing and the source of most of my strength. We’ve experienced a lot together throughout the years and have been each other’s lifelines.
Neither of us would be here if it weren’t for the other. I lost my father to suicide in 2010 and Meeko lost a leg to cancer in 2012. What we’ve gained since then is contained within the words of this blog. I hope you’ll find some comfort here.
